- A GXT Editor is used to edit.gxt files, in which all texts of GTA2 are stored. This includes all mission texts, car names, area names, ingame texts, but also the text used in the menu and even the GTA2 Manager. To alter these texts, you'll need a text editor. There are several editors to do this, but they're all more or less the same.
- GXT Editor 1.0: Author Zverik: Submitted / Updated /: Description This program is a need for Vice City modders. It allows you to edit any text from the game. For example, you can get rid of the flashing word 'replay' when you use this.
- Here's what I'm trying to do: I used the GTA ZONE editor to edit one of the zones (LIND4c) so it would cover the Ganton part of the Los Santos River, and changed the 'text' value to LSRIV. The changes were applied, but now I need to change the text label that appears when you enter th.
